n.exchange KYC after deposit — next time read peer Offers before you send

The Instant widget looked accountless. You sent BTC or another coin toward an XMR payout through n.exchange — sometimes after a wallet’s built-in swap routed you there without naming the desk first. Then the order paused: Customer Due Diligence, Enhanced Due Diligence, source-of-funds questions, maybe an interview. n.exchange’s own FAQ says flagged deposits can wait until CDD/EDD finishes before the order continues. Coins already left your wallet. Next time, put a peer BUY card next to the Instant quote before you broadcast.

Disclaimer

This article is editorial opinion and general information, not legal or tax advice. Instant desk policies change; read the provider’s current terms. Rules vary by country. Public user reports of prolonged holds (including wallet-routed swaps) are not a verdict on every order — treat them as a failure mode to price before you send.

What the hold actually is

n.exchange markets a fast, non-custodial Instant exchange flow. Its public FAQ also states that transactions are subject to Customer Due Diligence, and that suspicious orders may require Enhanced Due Diligence — source of funds, sanctions/PEP screening, sometimes an interview — with pending orders fulfilled only after those procedures succeed. Terms language around AML/KYC fees and verification is part of the same compliance window. Wallet “Swap” buttons can land you on that desk without you opening n.exchange.com first. That is a provider window, not a peer trade.

Same family of trap: Changee KYC after deposit · Quickex KYC after deposit · ChangeNOW KYC hold · FixedFloat KYC after deposit. Fee / privacy framing: Privacy tax on KYC Monero swaps. Abort before deposit: Got a swap quote — when to abort.

Next-time habit (peer compare first)

  1. Verify @domestic_monero_botVerify official.
  2. Open Offers. Filter the asset you were about to deposit (BTC, ETH, USDT ERC-20, LTC, SOL…).
  3. Put Instant’s “you receive” XMR next to the peer card’s rate / limits / deviation.
  4. If the peer card wins on all-in and fits min/max, accept — then send to the trade address, not the Instant deposit.
  5. Save the trade share. Support is /support + Trade #ref only.

Domestic Monero does not promise Instant-minute settlement. It promises a readable peer card before you risk a post-deposit compliance mailbox.

Domestic Monero Offers filtered to BTC — peer cards to compare before an Instant deposit.
Offers → BTC — compare peer rate before any Instant deposit address.
Domestic Monero Accept Offer detail for a BTC peer card.
Accept Offer detail — send only after you accept.

If you are already stuck mid-hold

Follow n.exchange’s order / support / compliance flow from the URL on the order page. If a wallet swap routed you there, keep the wallet’s order ID and the n.exchange reference. Verify any KYC-link domain yourself — phishing clones of verification portals exist. Domestic Monero cannot unblock their desk. After funds return (minus fees), re-run the peer compare before the next deposit. Do not paste trade shares or seeds into anyone claiming to be “swap support.”

FAQ

Does “no account” on Instant mean never KYC?

No. It usually means no signup on the happy path. Flagged deposits can still open a compliance path after you send.

Does Domestic Monero freeze deposits for shotgun KYC?

DM is peer Offers with staged settlement and a trade share — not an Instant deposit desk. Different failure modes.

USDT network?

On Domestic Monero, USDT is ERC-20 on Ethereum mainnet only — not TRC-20/BEP-20.
